At Acorn Cottage, we are committed to maintain the traditional atmosphere of this Grade II listed property.
Built in the 1800s the property has been farm buildings and a weaver’s cottage as well as a home to many families.
Built of local sandstone it blends into the area and is quite typical of the area.
Opposite the kitchen door is the oak tree that gives Acorn Cottage its name. Feel free to collect acorns from the front to plant your own forest at home.
